Twisted serial killer Mick Taylor is furious. After almost dying at the hands of Season 1’s Eve Thorogood, he’s got a fresh taste for murder and mayhem, and this time he’s looking for a really good time. Caught smack bang in Mick’s sights is a group of international tourists embarking on an adventure of a lifetime. Led by cheerful tour guide Davo, the group is promised a chance to leave the city life behind and enter the real outback Australia – a mesmerising, confronting landscape, filled with mystery and danger. For Americans Rebecca and Danny, this outback adventure is their last chance at repairing their marriage, but will Rebecca’s new connection with Brian, a charming British psychiatrist, threaten their already fractured relationship? Meanwhile, German expatriates Oskar and Nina struggle with their wild spirited teenage daughter, Emma, who has set her sights on a fellow traveller – the attractive blogger, Wade. Wade’s got other things on his mind and spends his time flirting with a cute Canadian girl, Michelle. Her best friend, Kelly, jealously watches their growing relationship - in love with Michelle, but worried that any move will ruin their friendship. Joined by solo traveller Bruce, couple Johnny and Steve, and a loveable geek, Richie, the group quickly bond and immerse themselves in outback Australia.
