Present day and the Pack is, once more, on the hunt for Malcolm, the Witches having cast a spell to release him from the War Room cage. Jeremy expects that they’ll be back –Ruth left her talisman behind. It's the charm that helps a witch focus her powers. Soon enough, Ruth and Paige arrive and form an uneasy alliance with the Pack. The Witches have Malcolm in custody. Their plan is to use him a sbait to draw Aleister into the open. Once they capture Aleister and learn where he’s holding Savannah, the Pack can do as they wish with Malcolm.
