At the Compound, Bauer is fevered and in pain (having previously injected herself with Elena’s werewolf blood). Hoping Elena can guide Bauer through the Change and keep her alive, and despite Elena’s warnings that Bauer is facing certain death, Aleister locks the two women together in the lab.
